At the 2025 Music City Open, both MPO and FPO champions received a Gibson ES-335 as the winner’s prize — continuing the event’s tradition of awarding high-end guitars instead of trophies.

For Kristin Lätt, this marked the third consecutive year winning in Nashville, bringing the total value of her guitar prizes to over $8,000:
2023 – Gibson SG, retail price $2,000
2024 – Gibson Les Paul, retail price $2,600
2025 – Gibson ES-335, retail price approx. $3,500
Lätt won the 2025 title in a playoff against Silva Saarinen, who averaged 1018-rated golf — the highest-rated FPO performance without a win to date.
In the MPO division, Niklas Anttila took the victory and received the same ES-335 model. The previous MPO winners in 2023 and 2024 were Simon Lizotte, also awarded Gibson guitars.
The Music City Open remains the only DGPT event where the winners receive professional-grade musical instruments, highlighting its unique connection to Nashville’s music heritage.
