Music City Open 2025 Tees Off in Nashville With Notable European Representation

The 2025 DGPT - MVP Music City Open Presented by Another Round officially begins today, April 4, in Antioch, Tennessee. As part of the Disc Golf Pro Tour Elite Series, this event brings together many of the sport’s leading players at Mill Ridge Park over three competitive rounds from April 4 to 6​.

Out of 159 total competitors at the 2025 Music City Open, Europe is represented by 18 players, accounting for 11.3% of the field. In the MPO division, 14 out of 108 players are European (≈13%), while the FPO division includes 4 European players out of 51 (≈7.8%). Finland leads the European delegation with 10 athletes, followed by Estonia with 3, and the Czech Republic with 2. Sweden contributes one player to the MPO field. This spread emphasizes not only Finland’s continued dominance but also the broader growth of competitive disc golf across Northern and Central Europe.

Tournament Schedule


All rounds take place at Mill Ridge Park using dedicated layouts for FPO and MPO. Players will tee off each day between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. local time.


  • Round 1: Friday, April 4

  • Round 2: Saturday, April 5

  • Round 3: Sunday, April 6


Practice rounds began earlier this week, and additional events like FlyMart and Chapel services were held Thursday. On Saturday evening, players can also participate in a vendor FlyMart from 4–8 p.m.​


Prize and Qualification

The event boasts over $35,000 in added cash to the purse, marking it as one of the larger payouts on the DGPT. Additionally, the MCO serves as a qualifier for the USDGC (3 MPO spots) and the TPWDGC (2 FPO spots).
