The GRIPeq 43rd Kansas City Wide Open presented by UnderPar concluded early after severe storms forced organizers to shorten the MPO division’s final round to just nine holes. The official standings after Round 3 were declared as the final results.

European players competed in both divisions, delivering varied performances under challenging conditions.
In the MPO division:

In the FPO division, Finland’s Heidi Laine finished 14th at +4. She was the only FPO contestant from Europe.
The tournament faced repeated lightning delays throughout the weekend. Due to the persistent threat of severe weather, officials decided to reduce the final round for the MPO division to nine holes, significantly affecting the tournament’s rhythm and strategy.
The MPO title was won by Gannon Buhr, who finished at -24. With this victory, he claimed his third career Kansas City Wide Open title, having previously won the event in 2021 and 2022. Holyn Handley won the FPO division with a score of -9.
