Estonia’s disc golfer Albert Tamm has officially been selected as the final member of Team Europe for the 2025 PDGA Presidents Cup, following the conclusion of this year’s international fan vote. He joins a stacked European lineup set to challenge Team USA on April 30 at Swenson Park in Stockton, California.

The Presidents Cup is one of disc golf’s most prestigious international team events, pitting the best players from the United States and Europe against one another in a one-day competition held just before the PDGA Champions Cup — the first professional Major of the season.
Albert Tamm’s addition reflects strong support from fans across Europe, who cast votes from March 26 to April 6. He was selected over fellow nominees Joona Heinänen, Jesse Nieminen, Silver Lätt, Linus Carlsson, Kristian Kuoksa, Teemu Lampainen, and Teemu Talikainen.
Team Europe 2025 includes:
• Niklas Anttila (FIN)
• Väinö Mäkelä (FIN)
• Simon Lizotte (GER)
• Jakub Semerád (CZE)
• Albert Tamm (EST)
• Kristin Lätt (EST)
• Eveliina Salonen (FIN)
Team Europe is captained by Jussi Meresmaa, the founder of the Presidents Cup, and enters the 2025 edition looking for its first-ever victory. While Team USA has dominated the event historically, the gap has narrowed significantly in recent years.
On the U.S. side, Anthony Barela was selected as the final MPO team member through fan voting, earning his spot alongside some of the top-ranked players in the world. Team USA 2025 features a powerhouse lineup, including Paul McBeth, Ricky Wysocki, Calvin Heimburg, Gannon Buhr, Isaac Robinson, Holyn Handley, and Missy Gannon. With a perfect record in all previous Presidents Cups since 2006, Team USA enters the 2025 event as the favorite — but Europe’s rising stars are ready to challenge that streak.
