The Disc Golf Pro Tour is launching a brand-new exhibition event, the DGPT Creators Challenge, on June 26 at Pickard Park in Indianola, Iowa. This format-first competition pairs eight top touring professionals with eight popular content creators in alternate-shot doubles, promising both competitive drama and entertainment.

Among the pros, Simon Lizotte, from Germnay, will be the sole European representative. Lizotte teams up with James Makes Music, a creator who brings a unique twist to the disc golf content scene by blending his musical talent with commentary, humor, and on-course play. He is known for producing disc golf-themed songs and adding a rhythmic edge to the sport’s storytelling.
The 12-hole round includes creative twists designed to engage both players and spectators:
Hole 5: Ace Run Challenge – Three ace attempts per team, both partners must throw.
Hole 6: Spin-to-Throw – A wheel decides throwing style (e.g. roller, tomahawk, off-hand).
Hole 16: Fan Substitution – A spectator tees off and plays the entire hole instead of the pro.
The DGPT Creators Challenge will be streamed live on Disc Golf Network and DGPT’s YouTube channel.
