PDGA Seeks Candidates for 2025 Global Board Elections

The Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) has officially opened the call for candidates to serve on its Global Board of Directors for the 2025 election cycle. Active members interested in shaping the future of disc golf are invited to submit their applications by April 30, 2025, at 11:59 PM ET.

The PDGA is looking for highly motivated individuals with relevant experience and a commitment to growing disc golf as both a recreational and competitive global sport. Ideal candidates will demonstrate expertise in areas such as youth program development, executive leadership, strategic planning, education, finance, media, and sports governance.
To be eligible, candidates must:
Be at least 18 years old as of September 1, 2025,
Have maintained active PDGA membership for at least two consecutive years as of April 1, 2025,
Possess a clean disciplinary and criminal background,
Avoid significant conflicts of interest,
Commit to attending two in-person summits annually and monthly virtual meetings.
Applicants are required to submit a cover letter and resume outlining their goals, qualifications, and any potential conflicts of interest, along with three letters of recommendation, including one from an active PDGA member. Submissions must be sent to BODcandidate@pdga.com.
Key dates in the election process include:
April 2–30: Call for candidates open.
May 1–30: Nominating Committee reviews and vets applications.
June 2: Official candidate list published on PDGA.com, with interviews posted by June 16.
July 1–31: Member voting period.
August 1: Election results announced.
September 1: New Directors begin their three-year term.
