Serbia has officially opened its first permanent disc golf course, marking a major milestone for the sport in the country. Located in the Sremčica district of Belgrade, the new Belgrade Disc Golf Park features 18 holes with fixed Prodigy T2 targets, artificial grass tee pads, and a layout designed to be welcoming to both beginners and experienced players.

The course, established in 2024, is a joint effort by the Paul McBeth Foundation and local disc golf organization Frizbijak. Their goal was to create sustainable disc golf opportunities in regions where access to the sport has been limited.

Previously, disc golf in Serbia relied on temporary setups, such as the Ušće Disc Golf Park in Novi Beograd, where baskets were only installed for tournaments or league play. The Belgrade Disc Golf Park represents a significant advancement, offering year-round access to a full permanent course.

The official opening will be celebrated at the upcoming Dugi Rt Open 2025 tournament.

With this development, Serbia aims to foster a growing disc golf community and inspire new generations of players.
