The 2025 PDGA Champions Cup concluded on Sunday at Swenson Park in Stockton, California, with Missy Gannon and Isaac Robinson claiming the season’s first Major titles. While the American champions took center stage, 22 European athletes made their presence felt—some with top finishes, others facing unexpected obstacles, and one caught in a moment of controversy.

FPO Highlights: Lätt on the Podium, Saarinen in Top 4

Estonia’s Kristin Lätt delivered a determined performance, finishing in 2nd place at -25, just two strokes behind winner Missy Gannon. Lätt, a multiple-time Major winner, was once again in contention throughout the weekend but was also at the center of a rare officiating controversy involving a foot fault call. The call was made unilaterally by a marshal, without input from cardmates, and despite the official admitting he had not clearly seen both the disc release and foot position—elements required to confirm a stance violation.

Silva Saarinen of Finland impressed with a 4th place finish at -18, continuing her rise as one of the FPO division’s most consistent performers. Defending champion Eveliina Salonen, also from Finland, closed out the event in 6th at -14.
